National Week of Open and Digital Learning in Lithuania
The Lithuanian Association of Distance and e-Learning (LieDM) organised the National Week of Open and Digital Learning in Lithuania on 4 – 8 November 2024 on the theme – Education in the Digital Age. What can we do better?
The LieDM Association is part of the international EDEN Digital Learning Europe network and the National Week for Open and Digital Learning is part of the European Open and Digital Learning Week (EODLW) 2024 “Tomorrow’s Teaching and Learning”.
The National Open and Digital Learning Week featured 24 presentations and discussions on the directions and challenges of digitalisation in educational organisations, and the more effective use of technology in different sectors: general education, VET, higher education and adult education. The week’s events were joined by 754 participants.
The main topics discussed were:
- Learning and teaching with digital technologies. What has been created?
- Digital Leadership and Research
- Challenges of digitalisation in everyday school life
- Innovations in education developed in cooperation with international partners
- Good institutional practices in digitalisation.
The presentations showed how many manifestations of digital transformation, innovations, good practices organisations have and how their value is revealed through sharing, discussion and collaboration.
